Midlands based boxer Matt Sen, started off with an excellent run beating opponent after opponent, fighting at the Genting Arena in just his 3rd fight and challenging for the British Challenge Belt in his 4th fight and winning by KO. 

Unfortunately Matt, took an unforeseen loss in his 5th outing on the Tommy Owens show in November 2018 and has since changed things around in his camp with a new trainer, new focus and joining forces with Legion. With this awesome combination, Matt vows to never allow it to happen again. Matt has described his loss as “A minor set back for a major comeback”.

Matt’s aim is to avenge his recent defeat immediately, then a rematch with Josh Burke who he beat for the British Challenge Belt, but this this fight will be for the first in the domestic title belts, the Midlands Area Title. 

This title has been vacant for 5 years so Matt has an opportunity to put his name in the history books picking up this belt.

Following this Matt is then interested in looking at additional titles and insists he isn’t afraid of a challenge.

He closes by saying “this is going to a be a roller coaster ride, get in board and enjoy the ride”.

Looks like exciting things to come from the Slugger in the near future.
